We had some exciting events taking place across our PR campaigns in August. From the US to the UK, festival season was in full swing for our artists – making it another busy month for Lucid Publicity.

CARVER JONES AT MAHA FESTIVAL, OMAHA
Returning to his home town of Omaha, Carver Jones opened MAHA Festival with a vibrant 45-minute set. Bringing plenty of energy to the festival’s opening slot, weaving together fan favourites with material from his newly released EP, ‘8’, which arrived just a day before the performance. He also treated the crowd to a first listen of an unreleased track, “Nebraska” – a fitting nod to his home state and the festival’s setting. The festival also features sets from Blondshell, Bright Eyes and a standout headline show from Wet Leg. The gig was a timely celebration of the release of his EP ‘8’, which arrived as a genre-bending exercise of creative freedom, allowing influences to coexist without boundaries. With effortless fluidity, ‘8’ sees Carver Jones reject the notion that an artist must occupy a single lane, instead celebrating the beauty of following ideas wherever they naturally lead. EVENSON AT ALL POINTS EAST, LONDON
August marked a major milestone for US alternative artist and creative Evenson, who took to the stage at All Points East on Friday 28th August alongside Tyler, The Creator, Turnstile, Clipse, fakemink, Ravyn Lenae and more. The performance followed the release of his debut album, ‘Eve’, earlier in the month, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the young artist. Led by focus track “Retrograde Pt. 1” and a striking run of visuals released earlier this year, ‘Eve’ brought together Evenson’s sonic and visual worlds, exploring themes of identity, love, family, heritage, masculinity, self-realisation and forgiveness. The project also saw him collaborate with a wealth of creative talent, including Japanese-American filmmaker Justin Kaminuma (The Cure, YUNGBLUD, Disclosure). With attention continuing to build across both sides of the Atlantic, including coverage from WONDERLAND and FLAUNT, August saw Evenson take another confident step forward as a distinctive storyteller and world builder, with ‘Eve’ representing his most expansive body of work to date. WANDE COAL AT LIFE IS 4 LIVIN’ FEST, LONDON
August saw Nigerian Afrobeats heavyweight Wande Coal headline 1WAY’s inaugural LIFE IS 4 LIVIN’ Fest at Hainault Park, bringing his distinctive sound and undeniable stage presence to a vibrant celebration of music, culture and community. Performing to a packed crowd, Wande delivered a high-energy set spanning fan favourites and standout moments from his extensive catalogue, with the atmosphere reaching another level when fellow Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage joined him on stage as a surprise guest. The performance marked another standout moment in Wande’s ongoing UK run, reaffirming his enduring influence across the Afrobeats landscape.
